Need Some Worms

July 22, 2006 at 6:30 pm | Posted in environment, Personal | 4 Comments

Yay! Thanks to Vancouver Freecycle, whimsicalzephyr and I now have an apartment sized worm composter.

We’ve felt terribly guilty about putting our organics in the trash.

It’s not operational yet though. We still need worms.

Do any of my eco-friendly friends happen to know where to get the kinds of worms used in composting?

  2. Thank you.

  3. Let me know how this goes, we’ld like to compost too. Have to check with the strata, and find some substitute for grass clipping which we don’t have.

  4. If you have houseplants, you could probably use plant clippings instead of grass.
